My approach

My style of practice is influenced by therapies as acceptance and commitment training, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. I want to work with you to help you grow and overcome certain difficulties in your life. I strongly believe in looking at prevention and finding what brings you energy and joy in life, all to build resilience.

During our sessions we'll discuss your emotions, behaviour and thoughts. We will focus on your needs and values and try to integrate this into your behaviour by taking intentional actions by working on your thoughts and behaviours. We will try to see where you can overcome difficulties and in which area's in your life you can improve.

My specialities

You can reach out to me if you are suffering from low mental health such as feeling burn-out, anxious or depressed. We can discuss topics such as personal development, stress related to work or relationships, motherhood and expat-life. I focus on women’s health and specialize myself in topics such as pre- and postnatal mental health, menopause and menstrual health and I will integrate this knowledge during our sessions. Yoga

During my work as psychologist I have always had a strong interest in the connection of our physical and mental health. I strongly believe that taking care of our body helps to take care of our mind and the other way around. Our bodies can hold a lot of stress and trauma. I am a licensed yoga teacher, and you can book me for a group or private yoga session. Workshops

My goal is to increase awareness about women’s mental health across the lifespan. I organise workshops to inform people about the relation between mental and physical health of women over the course of life. I love to create a connection between people and open up a conversation to discuss these topics. During these workshops we can talk about topics such as;

  • women’s mental health and the menstrual cycle

  • women’s mental health and the pre- and postnatal phase

  • women’s mental health and menopause
